HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS
FITTING BETWEEN EXISTING STRUCTURES

Installations that are fitted between existing structures such as a wall or a pillar all you need to do is measure the exact gap size you require.
EXAMPLE

Distance between wall 10ft
ordering size 10ft

FITTING BETWEEN EXISTING METAL POSTS
​
Please measure the distance between posts any existing hinges or latches need to be removed before you take the measurements as our products hinges may not line up with existing hardware.
EXAMPLE
​
Overall size 12 ft 8 inches
posts are 4 inches each
ordering size would be 12 ft.

NO EXISTING STRUCTURE OR POST

This type of installation will require the addition of posts to provide support, therefore the space they will take up will need to be accounted for to do this measure the gap size minus the post size

POINTS TO REMEMBER
​
1. It is essential that the gep is measured in 3 different places Top, Middle and Bottom the smallest measurement is the one we will need.
​
2. Certain products are heavy and will require a suitably strong surface to be attached to please make sure all posts and structures are strong enough.

3. Where posts are required please ensure the additional space is taken into account.
